After the 3 days with the Exeter guys me knees payed the price. I am hoping i havent got " Jumpers Knee" and i will be able to resume training movment as soon as possible.
Iv started a weight and cycling programme to link in with all my current movement training. My aim is to improve my physique and become stronger. Below is my workout plan:
Mon - Rest
Tues- Arms, Chest and Abs.
Wed - Cycle - 8 Mile sprint ride.
Thurs - Back, Shoulders and Abs.
Fri - Cycle - 8 Mile sprint ride.
Sat - Training movement / conditioning.
Sun - Light training.
This is all then backed up with a healthy diet and a protien shake after each workout. This will last a month and will look at results after.
Back from Exeter.
Had a couple of days training down in Exeter with the guys and it was a really fun trip. Met a few new mates Scott and Aiden in particular and trained with good old Kie.
Apart from Kie who was injured everyone trained and it was a nice relaxed 3 days in a new area. Exeter's spots are all spread out and all offer different things. Training with Kie and the others have opened my eyes up to a few things that I will now apply to my training back here.
Filmed a little bit and should use some of it for my Summer Part 1 video depending on the amount and how the footage looks, havent yet watched it back properly or thought about the editing.
I now have 2 more weeks left off work so I am planning another trip away soon. St Albans and Chesham this weekend followed by alot more Chesham and London mid-week. Looking forward to training again once I have recovered from aches gained in Exeter.
Big thanks to Kie for letting us stay at his place for the 3 nights.

HD.
I have just finished testing my new JVC HD Everio Camera and uploaded a short tester for Youtube that I have now taken down. Quaility of the video was amazing in comparison to my old videos but that was expectable.
Now all my Youtube videos will have a HD option and will be in such better quality. A new project has already began and is a short film based around what Parkour means to me, why I practise it and my Training. Im looking forward to getting stuck in and as I have now finished school I have alot of time on my hands to make this short film the best it can be.

School is out for.....EVER!?
Today was my final day of school. Both media exam and Performing Arts piece performed and finished. Now I have to wait for results which should be coming out around mid August time. Looking forward to my grades.
This means so much more time has become avalible to chill out, earn money, train hard with those far away and close and just live life without coursework and revision stress.
I have recently got a new HD camera also so expect to see many new projects and short films on my Youtube account.

Movement, Life and thoughts.
The first week of my easter holiday is already coming to an end and its been an amazing week.
Brighton with friends, movement with family, life this week has been good.
Went to Brighton on Wednesday and it was a much needed day away from everything back home. Relaxing by the sea, having fun with friends and just having a day of banta. The day was epic fun.
Friday night I went to gymnastics at Harpenden and had a really really good session. On the air track I drilled: Front to Backs, Back to Side to Fronts, Round off Fronts, Round of Backs and landed a terrbile cork attempt on my knees. However i now have a good idea of the technique and will begin working on Corks soon. off the air track i drilled Laches, Laches to Muscle ups, step up Fronts, Step up Sides, Front handsprings and Tunnel Flips. I also landed my first inverted wall side flip, which was an amazing feeling. I need to work on the technique and hieght more but will soon have them outside.
Training with Tim again has opened up a new path and a new way/new look at training. I have begun climbing and this is becoming part of my outside conditioning. Today at a rainy session, we sessioned an undercover spot with limited things to do with no imagination. But as the session went on we began to expand our site on things we hadnt seen. Little climbing missions, arm jump adjustment training and strides. All extremely fun. During the session we talked about our progression since starting training together. I have been traning 4 years and Tim has been training 2 years. It was only since I have met Tim that I have personally felt the best progression. Iv only known Tim for around a year and a half but already he has come one of my closest friends. We began talking about how we should be progressing more and how we can but I want to leave that for another post after I have had a long think about things personally.
All in all a good first week. Next week I have plans to train in Chesham and St Albans as usual then also training Redhill and attending something to do with a Parkour company in London. I will update soon.

Being injured, Loving weather.
After work last sunny Sunday, my trampoline had just been put back up and I was excited to get back on it to work on something I have been aiming to get out of the gym for awhile. I jumped from a wall onto the trampoline with my sister already bouncing on it (The wall is no more than 30cm's away and around 80cm's lower). I jumped on just as she had bounced off meaning the trampoline was higher than i expected it to be meaning I was double bounced. My right ankle twisted and I felt something pull straight away. I got off and tryed to walk it off hopeing the pain would slowly stop. It didnt.
Today I am feeling almost better with walking being back to normal and bounces on the trampoline being non strainful or painful. Running is still a strain and with everybody down on Sat to train in Chesham i am hoping i am better. Being injured put me in a bad mindset, however things just seemed to change rapidly as i begun to see a brighter side to my injury.
I lacked conditioning and muscle training as of late so since i have been injured conditioning is the only training that satisfys me like movement training does. Weights and climb ups are my main drills along with light quad movement around the house and outside. Tim has also been supportive with getting conditioning done as we both relaised we needed this change to take our progression to the next level.
I recently finished the book "Way of the peaceful warrior" which is written by Dan Millman. Well worth a buy. The book has slightly changed the way i look at things based around Parkour and life in general. Will be reading it again though to understand everything more.
Weather has been beautiful and I am now off to condition in the sunshine.
